“ZAEDNO – Communication for Support and Development” Foundation (ZAEDNO) is a Bulgarian youth non-governmental, non-commercial and non-political organization, registered in 2005, and working in public benefit. ZAEDNO is a Bulgarian word meaning: coming together; towards one goal. Vision We believe that the mutual support based on tolerance, good will and positive communication between organizations, movements and individuals working in the field of youth and community development and social justice could expand the horizons and potentials of our common world. Mission To inspire and support the creative dialogue and joint activities of civil organizations, initiatives and individuals, working in the field of youth development, social justice and care of Nature. ZAEDNO is working in the field of DIALOGUE to: Encourage and facilitate the electronic communication and collaboration between youth civil organizations based on new information and communication technologies; Initiate and contribute to the all-round individual development, social inclusion of children and youth by stimulating non-formal education, youth activity and volunteering; Support collaboration and partnerships between Bulgarian civil organizations and similar structures from EU and the world. ZAEDNO target group consists of: Children and youth from all social, economical and ethical backgrounds;
ZAEDNO is using the following tools and strategies: Research on the opportunities provided by ICT based communication for the development of civil society, the youth sector being of particular concern; Elaboration and promotion of tools for electronic communication that will enable the effective participation of youth civil organizations in building the electronic society; Making popular the youth voluntary services and participation in community life; Educational, capacity-building and informational programs and campaigns in the field of youth development, social and environmental education; Collaboration and cooperation with similar organizations in Bulgaria, the Balkan region and world. ZAEDNO Team We work as a young volunteers’ team since 2000, supporting youth and civil organizations and social institutions in Bulgaria. We are students and young professionals in the field of youth development, social services, and new information & communication technologies.
